Criminal legal office at the service of the general public. We assist, advise and represent permanently and continuously people who do not have a lawyer or lack economic resources subject to criminal proceedings, through a technical and effective defense, exercised by highly qualified, trustworthy and service-minded personnel, who promotes access to justice, respect for fundamental rights and right process.

Institution dependent on the Dominican Public Ministry that has jurisdiction in the geographical demarcation of the National District. Its mission is to direct and coordinate with the judicial police the investigation of crimes committed in its geographical area, with the aim of identifying those responsible and through the judicial decision to obtain their sanction, always complying with the rules of legal process; assisting victims of crime through fair treatment, and seeking reparation for their psychological damage through comprehensive care from a specialized team.

Body in charge of monitoring the judgments and other judicial decisions issued in this area, in order to propose guidelines for action within the Judicial Power and, at the same time, suggest those legislative modifications that are considered necessary to achieve greater efficiency and forcefulness in the judicial response.

Entity whose function is to administer justice, free of charge, to decide on conflicts between individuals or legal entities, in private or public law, in all kinds of processes, judging and executing what is judged.

Institution representative of the State in the exercise of public action, committed to the formulation and implementation of the policy against crime, criminal investigation, administration of the prison and correctional system, the protection of victims and witnesses, persecution of corruption and fraud, as well as providing the administrative legal services required by law.

Administration of justice entity, to decide conflicts and guarantee the rights of people; generating legal security and peace within the framework of a constitutional, social and democratic state of law.

Agency whose mission is to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution, defending the constitutional order and the protection of fundamental rights.

Entity in charge of judge and decide on electoral disputes and issues arising internally in the parties, groups and movements or between them.
