The Laser Training Center is open everyday, year round. We welcome novices who wish to learn how to sail, intermediates who wish to improve, clubs and teams that can charter boats and come with their own coach or big boat sailors wanting to get some dinghy sailing experience.

Scuola della Vela has always been the reference point for sailing enthusiasts. The school is directed by Franco Pistone, national instructor FIV, who has been teaching sailing in Costa Smeralda since 1978 helped by federal instructors and sailing experts. More than 4000 sailing students have taken our courses on vessels ranging from 3 to 10 metres. Scuola della Vela has, for the last 27 years, managed the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda school and for the last 10 years it has also managed the Yacht Club Poltu Quatu school; two year ago we launched a new base in Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. The school offers a unique service for those who wish to begin taking part in regattas without having to face the expense of buying and maintaining a boat and for those who wish to organize regattas and sailing events with mono type vessels. The J 24 fleet is made up of six brand new boats, hired with sails, equipment, outboard engine and trailer to allow them to be transported to the regatta location.
