El programa para personas sordociegas se inició en 1997 y ofrecen servicios a 26 niños y jóvenes en la escuela como asi también en sus comunidades debido a la falta de recursos por parte de las familias y las distancias.

The Saint Thomas school is a private, comprehensive, college preparatory, non-sectarian, coeducational institution. The school was founded in 1995 with grades pre-kindergarten through second grade, and added one grade level each subsequent year. Saint Thomas School ranks among the top five schools in the country, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges an Schools (SACS-ADVANCED) and is locally accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic. It is located at Juan Tomas Mejia Cotes #43, Arroyo Hondo, Santo Domingo, about fifteen minutes from the center of the city. The facility consists of three buildings, 30 classrooms, a library, science laboratory, three computer labs, an auditorium, a dance room, a cafeteria, administration area, guidance office, medical clinic, conference room, soccer field, and basketball court.

In order to meet the Dominican requirements for graduation, students are also required to take Spanish, Latin American and Dominican Social Studies, French (in secondary school) and must fulfill 60 hours of community service before graduation.
