The General of Customs office of the Dominican Republic was created to facilitate and control trade in the Dominican Republic and the world, based upon the efficiency and transparency of customs procedures, in line with best international practice of customs administration, control of evasion fiscal and trade, strengthening national security and the protection of health and the environment.
