The San Pedro de Macoris Free Zone is the second Industrial Park established in the Country in 1972. That means 28 uninterrupted years providing a very capable and well-trained workforce . Actually this is the largest Industrial Park under Fomento's administration, and the second largest in the Dominican Republic with a total of 103 Industrial Plants (buildings) occupied by 49 companies dedicated to several activities such as : Textile , shoes, luggage, leather goods, electronic parts, crafts, jewelry and services providers.
